Molecular Formula | M2O/n·Al2O3·wSiO2·Yh2o |
Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical properties light yellow powder. Insoluble in water and organic solvents, soluble in strong acids and bases. It has a microporous structure with a specific surface area of 900~1000 m2/g and a pore diameter of (9~10)× 10-10m. The lattice failure temperature is 900~950 ℃. The activity is high, the selectivity is good, and the coking tendency is very small. It can crack hydrocarbons into gasoline and improve octane stability. |
Use | It is mainly used as a catalyst in the catalytic cracking reaction of petroleum. |
hydrothermal synthesis method uses water glass, sodium metaaluminate and sodium hydroxide as raw materials. For the preparation of dilute solution of water glass and sodium metaaluminate, please refer to 3A molecular sieve.
Mix water glass, sodium metaaluminate and sodium hydroxide in a certain molar ratio (generally Al2O3:SiO2:Na2O:H2O = 1:8:3.1:192), add sulfuric acid (diluted to 2.25mol/L), stir at 20-30 ℃, add orienting agent, stir for half an hour, heat up to 50 ℃, age for a certain time, and then quickly heat up to (102±2)℃, crystallization for 16~24h (control of the alkalinity of the mother liquor), the resulting crystal is filtered, washed with water at 50~60 ℃, and added with chloride of rare earth element (Re) for ion exchange (exchange degree 70%), then filtered and washed to remove chloride ions, dried at 120 ℃, and finally added with silica sol for kneading, molding, burning and activation to obtain Re-Y molecular sieve.
