Abstract:
objective: to study the germicidal efficacy and related properties of polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride disinfectant. Methods suspension quantitative germicidal test and simulated field test were used to observe the germicidal efficacy and the stability of polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride. Results The disinfectant containing 43v. 8 mg/L polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride with 2.5 min effect on Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli killing log value> 5. Mean log kill of natural bacteria on object surfaces is> 1.00. The corrosion of metal stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum and copper is small. The content of polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride in the disinfectant was accelerated test at a constant temperature of 37 ℃ for 3 months, and the content reduction rate was not more than 0.44%. Conclusion The disinfectant has good bactericidal activity, stable performance and low corrosiveness.

Abstract:
guanidine-based polymer is one of the bioactive polymers. It is a strong organic base and is used as a basic catalyst or adjuvant in many reactions [1]. As early as 1861, Streeker discovered guanidine (CH5N3), from the structural point of view, guanidine is iminourea, also known as carbamic acid amidine. In nature, guanidine is present in trace amounts in plants such as sugar beet, Rice Husk, mushrooms and legumes, and trace amounts of guanidine are also contained in human and animal bodies, certain diseases can cause increased levels of guanidine in the blood or urine [2].
