(R,S)-N-NITROSOANABASINE - Upstream Downstream Industry
(R,S)-N-NITROSOANABASINE - Introduction
N-Nitroso-pseudooxygenine (NAB) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C10H12N4O and a molecular weight of 208.23g/mol. It is an isomer, I .e., (R,S)-N-nitroso-pseudothiabine.
NAB is a nitroso group with furan derivatives. It is a colorless solid and stable at room temperature. NAB has moderate solubility and is soluble in water and organic solvents such as ethanol and dimethylformamide. It is stable under acidic conditions.
NAB is commonly used in the pharmaceutical field as a tool compound for neurological drug research. Because of its interaction with neuromuscular, NAB can be used to explore the mechanisms of electrical signal transduction and neurotransmitter release within nerve cells.
NAB can be prepared by chemical synthesis. The common synthesis method is the reaction of pseudo-wood thief base and nitrous acid to generate NAB under appropriate reaction conditions.
Regarding safety information, NAB is currently not widely used, so there are few studies on its toxicity and safety. Because of its nitroso group, NAB may have some toxicity and irritation. In the use and handling of NAB, attention should be paid to comply with the relevant safety procedures, and take appropriate protective measures, such as wearing gloves and breathing masks. If contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help. During use and storage, the NAB should be kept in a dark, dry and sealed container, away from ignition and flammable materials.
