Physical and Chemical Properties | A viscous, yellowish oily liquid. Boiling point 243-246 ℃(1.3Pa), refractive index (nD25)1.5448. Soluble in benzene and ether, easily soluble in lower alcohols, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, hardly soluble in hexane, insoluble in water. Its hydrochloride ([152-11-4]) is white to white crystalline powder. Melting point 138.5-140.5 ℃ (decomposition). Soluble in methanol, dimethylformamide, soluble in ethanol, isopropanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, insoluble in chloroform. No smell, bitter taste. |
