Raw Materials | 1,4-Benzoquinone |
Downstream Products | 1,2,4-Trimethoxybenzene NORDALBERGIN 1,2,4-Benzenetriol |
It is obtained by the reaction of benzoquinone and acetic anhydride. Add acetic anhydride and concentrated sulfuric acid to the reaction pot, add p-benzodiquinone in stages under stirring, and the reaction temperature does not exceed 50 ℃. Above 50 ℃, the product decomposes, but below 40 ℃, the reaction is too slow. When the reactant is cold to 25°C, it is poured into water to precipitate precipitation. Filter, filter cake recrystallizes in ethanol. Get 1,2, 4-triacetoxybenzene.
