1,2-bis-methylphenoxyethane can be used for the preparation of 1,4, 7-tri-p-toluenesulfonyl-1, 4,7-triazacyclononane: weigh 10.8gN,N',N "-tr-p-toluenesulfonyldiethylenetriamine, dissolve it into 250ml dichloromethane, place it in a three-mouth flask, and mechanically stir to obtain a colorless and transparent solution. Add 3.95g potassium carbonate and stir at 50 ℃ for 1h to obtain yellow turbid liquid. Another 14.2 g1, 2-dimethylphenoxyethane is dissolved in 150ml of dichloromethane, then added dropwise to the above mixed solution, and the reaction is continued at 50 ℃ for 9 hours after dropping. After the reaction, a khaki solution is obtained, which is poured into water to obtain a light yellow emulsion, filtered to obtain a light yellow solid, and recrystallized with ethanol to obtain 6.39g of white needle-like crystals with a yield of 56.6%. Melting point: 216~218 ℃.
