10.00g 2,6-dihydroxyacetophenone is dissolved in 80mL anhydrous acetone, stirred in a round bottom flask for 5min, 9.991g anhydrous potassium carbonate is added for 10min, 9.120g dimethyl sulfate is added dropwise in a constant pressure drop funnel for 30min, reflux reaction is performed for 6h, cooling to room temperature, adjusting PH value to 2 with hydrochloric acid, extracting organic phase, after that, column chromatography V (petroleum ether):V (ethyl acetate) = 10:1 was carried out to obtain colorless liquid 1-(2-hydroxy-6-methoxyphenyl) ethyl-1-one (9.894g yield 90.65%).
