Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical properties red purple powder. Insoluble in water, ethanol and organic solvents. It is dark green in concentrated sulfuric acid, and slightly red and purple after dilution. It is yellow in the alkaline solution of hydrosulfite and colorless in the acidic solution. |
Use | The performance of reduced red purple RRN is similar to that of reduced red purple RH (C.I.73385), and it is a light brittle dye. Mainly used for cotton fiber dyeing and cotton printing, affinity and levelling are good. Used for dyeing silk, leveling and affinity are good. Also suitable for dyeing wool, nylon, vinylon. It can also be combined with bromoindigo and reduced brown RRD to dye black, and can also be combined with reduced pink R, orange RF, red GGN, etc. |
EPA chemical information | Benzo[ B ]thiophen-3(2H)-one, 5-chloro-2-(5-chloro-4,7-dimethyl-3-oxobenzo[ B ]thien-2(3H)-ylidene)-4,7-dimethyl- (2379-75-1) |
Using 4-chloro-2, 5-xylthioglycolic acid as raw material, the product is obtained by closed loop and oxidation with chlorosulfonic acid.
