Nature:
2,4-Dinitroaniline-dimethylthiocarbamate is a colorless crystalline solid, soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols and ethers, and slightly soluble in water. It has a strong pungent odor.
Use:

Method:
The preparation method of 2,4-dinitroaniline-dimethyl thiocarbamate is more complicated and generally includes the following steps:

2.2,4-Dinitroaniline ethanolate reacts with dimethylthiocarbamic acid to give 2,4-Dinitroaniline-dimethyloxocarbamate.
3. The final product 2,4-dinitroaniline-dimethyl thiocarbamate was obtained by the reaction of dimethyl oxocarbamate with carbon disulfide.
