Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical properties orange red to yellow brown powder. The aqueous solution is orange colloidal. It is yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid, and partially dissolved into a yellow solution after dilution. It is golden yellow in concentrated nitric acid and orange-red solution after dilution. There was no change in concentrated hydrochloric acid, and orange precipitation after dilution. Part of the solution in concentrated sodium hydroxide is orange-red, and the color remains unchanged after dilution. |
Use | Uses Neutral Orange RL is mainly used for dyeing wool, silk, nylon and vinylon in neutral or weak acid dyeing bath, as well as direct printing of wool, silk and nylon fabrics. When used for dyeing wool and other fibers in the same bath, the color of silk and wool is similar, the color of nylon is dark and red, the diacetate fiber is stained, and the cotton and viscose fiber are slightly stained. It is also used to mix neutral dark brown BRL with neutral gray 2BL, red ballpoint pen oil with alkaline rose essence (C.I.Basic Violet 10), and also used for leather dyeing. |
using 2-aminophenol -4-sulfonamide and 1-(p-chlorophenyl)-3-methyl -5-pyrazolone as raw materials, the former is first diazotized, then coupled with the latter, and finally filtered after chromium salicylate complexation, and dried to obtain the finished product (see 0201404 neutral deep yellow 5GL for the reaction formula).
