Amlexanox ethyl ester - Introduction
Ethyl-[1]benzopyrano[2,3-b]pyridine-3-carboxylate is an organic compound whose chemical formula is C17H19N3O4.
Properties of the compound:

Solubility: Good solubility in organic solvents, such as chloroform, dichloromethane and ethanol

Use of the compound:
1. as a drug intermediate: can be used to synthesize compounds with antibacterial, antifungal and antitumor activity.
2. as a pesticide intermediate: can be used to prepare pesticides and herbicides.
Preparation of the compound:
Ethyl-[1]benzopyrano[2,3-b]pyridine-3-carboxylate can be prepared by synthetic route, the specific steps are as follows:
1. Benzyl acetone is reacted with isopropyl acetate to give benzyl acetone isopropoxide. Br> 2. Benzylacetone isopropoxide and ethoxyethyl acetate were esterified to generate the target product Ethyl-[1]benzopyrano[2,3-b]pyridine-3-carboxylate.
