Benzamide, 4-(bromomethyl)-N-(1-methylethyl)- - Production method

Use p-methylbenzoic acid to chlorinate with thionyl chloride to generate p-methylbenzoyl chloride, and then brominate with bromine to obtain p-bromomethyl benzoyl bromide. The latter is condensed with isopropylamine to obtain the product.
