Abstract:
The physical and chemical properties of fatty acid sodium methyl ester sulfonate (MES), the compound properties of MES with fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sodium sulfate (AES) and sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate (LAS), and the performance of MES in washing formula were studied. The results show that MES has excellent surface properties and wide application range, and the combination of MES, AES and LAS shows good foam synergistic effect; in the liquid washing formula, MES showed excellent detergent performance and the decontamination of carbon black and sebum. MES is suitable for use in dishwashing detergents and laundry detergents, and suitable for use in shampoo formulations.
