C.I. 34908 - Introduction
Acid Brown 440(Acid Brown 440) is an organic synthetic dye, also known as Acid Brown 14, with the chemical name Acid Orange GRL.
Nature:
Acid Brown 440 is dark brown crystalline, soluble in water and less soluble in alcohols and ketones. It has good light, wash and alkali resistance.
Use:
Acid Brown 440 is mainly used for textile dyeing, especially cotton, silk and nylon, can produce dark brown to red brown dyeing effect. In addition, it can also be used in the dyeing of paints, inks and plastic products.
Method:
Acid Brown 440 is prepared by the reaction of p-dinitroaniline with guanidine or allylamine, followed by further condensation with naphthol.
