Physical and Chemical Properties | Oil is one of the three essential nutrients in the body, which is essential for the healthy development of the body. Its most important physiological function is to supply energy and essential fatty acids for the body. It is formed by the dehydration and esterification of one molecule of glycerol and three molecular fatty acids. The fat in the food is triglyceride, 90% after intake by the intestinal absorption. |

Overview | Triglyceride oil has a glycerol skeleton that binds three acyl groups. They can be synthesized or can be derived from natural products. In natural products, acyl groups are usually a mixture of different fatty acid residues. Some naturally occurring triglyceride oils are valuable commercial products. For example, triglyceride oils derived from palm trees are widely used in the food industry. Fish-derived triglyceride oils are used in healthy supplements. Typically, compared to naturally occurring crude oil, the oils are refined before they are used in the final product. Refining often involves neutralizing the oil, bleaching and deodorizing. Since unsaturated oils are often relatively unstable to oxidation in the air, antioxidants are often added to deodorized oils. |
application | medium chain triglyceride is a product obtained by chemical methods. it is widely used in the preparation and processing of a variety of foods. it can be used to dissolve and endow food with unique flavor and color, and reduce the viscosity of lipophilic food ingredients such as microorganisms and lecithin, it can also be used as a turbidity agent in beverages or as a lubricant and release agent for sausage film. |
