Dodovislactone B (also known as dododovislactone B) is a natural product, belonging to the group of chromoglycosides.
Its molecular formula is C26H42O7 and its molecular weight is 474.60g/mol. It is a white crystalline solid with a distinctive natural smell. Dodovislactone B is mainly found in certain plants, such as Dodovis species (native to the Democratic Republic of Congo).
The main use of Dodovislactone B is as a pharmaceutical intermediate. It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial biological activity. Dodovislactone B is also used in organic synthesis for the synthesis of other organic compounds.
