Flash Point | 149℃ |
Solubility | Easily soluble in water |
Physical and Chemical Properties | A light yellow paste, belonging to the category of anionic surfactants. Flash point 149 ℃, flow point 60 ℃. Easily soluble in water. It has strong detergency, excellent calcium soap dispersibility, and resistance to hard water. |
Use | This product can be used as a finishing agent for chemical fiber spinning, textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries, etc. It can also be used as a calcium soap dispersant for block soap and soap powder, and is also the main washing active substance. It can replace some sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate and sodium tripolyphosphate to make low phosphorus or phosphorus free detergents, especially suitable for the production of concentrated laundry detergent with enzymes. |
This product has excellent compatibility with zeolite and enzymes, and has little skin irritation (no reaction). Low toxicity.
It is prepared from fatty acids through esterification, sulfonation, and neutralization reactions.
1. Methylated fatty acids undergo esterification reaction with methanol in the presence of weakly alkaline catalysts, producing fatty acid methyl esters.
2. The sulfonation and sulfonation reagents for fatty acid methyl esters generally choose sulfur trioxide, and the reaction device adopts the widely used falling film reactor. Due to the short residence time in the membrane sulfonation reactor, aging is required after sulfonation. The aging temperature is generally controlled at 80-90C and the time is 40-60min. It is best to use segmented aging.
3. Neutralization and bleaching: Firstly, the aged product is bleached with hydrogen peroxide. The concentration of hydrogen peroxide is 50%, and the dosage is 3%~6% of the mass of the sulfonated product. The bleaching temperature is 55 ℃, and the time is 0.5-1h. The pH value should not exceed 9. Finally, a light yellow sulfonated product is obtained. Sometimes, in order to suppress the generation of disodium salts and reduce color, some methanol is added after hydrogen peroxide bleaching for re esterification, which can further improve product quality. The bleached product is neutralized, with a sodium hydroxide concentration of 20%, a temperature of 40-50 ℃, and a pH value of 7.5-9. After neutralization, add 20% sodium hypochlorite by weight of the sulfonate, stir with hot water for a second bleaching, and then remove from the pot to obtain a light yellow paste like product.
