production method | 25g FeCl2 · 4H2O is dissolved in 50mL of degassing water containing a small amount of sodium dithionite in order to reduce a small amount of ferric iron impurities. This solution was added to a 300mL aqueous solution containing 27.3mL of hexahydropyridine and 28.1mL of acetylacetone. After 15min, the precipitate generated was filtered and washed with water, ethanol and ether in turn. The brownish-yellow substance was transferred to a vacuum dryer and dried at 0.133Pa for 6h. Then the yellow powder of Fe(acac)2 · 2H2O was heated to 90°C at a pressure of 0.133Pa and kept for at least 12h to remove the crystal water. The yellow-brown crystal obtained is Fe(acac)2. |
