Physical and Chemical Properties | The reduced green 1 is a dark green powder. Organic compounds used as vat dyes. It is a derivative of benzyl alcohol. Insoluble in water, ethanol, chloroform, toluene, slightly soluble in acetone, O-chlorophenol, nitrobenzene, pyridine (hot), soluble in tetrahydronaphthalene (warm). In concentrated sulfuric acid was red violet, diluted to produce green precipitation. It is blue in the alkaline solution of sodium hydrosulfite and bright red in the acidic solution. |

Use | reduced Green 1, also known as Green FFB, is one of the representative products of green vat dyes, to be used for cotton fabric dyeing and printing, can also be used for polyester/cotton dyeing and plastic coloring. The reduced brilliant green FFB is used for cotton fiber dyeing and cotton printing, and has good levelness and high affinity. Can be used alone as bright green, but more for color matching, available series of green color, if green, light green, dark green, blue-green, etc. It is also used to dye silk, wool, viscose fiber and viscose cotton, cotton blended fabric. Can also be used for plastic, soap, paper coloring. vat dye, formerly known as vat dye, is insoluble in water. It is a dye that needs to be reduced by using insurance powder in alkaline solution to dye fibers. The chromatogram of vat dyes is complete, with high dyeing fastness, soaping and light fastness, and the application proportion in printing and dyeing industry is large. |
production method | with phenylanthrone as raw material, potassium hydroxide, sodium acetate and sodium nitrite were added in butanol medium for condensation, then, manganese dioxide is used to oxidize and close the ring in sulfuric acid, and the product is obtained by methylation after reduction. Finally, after acid separation, water boiling, drying, crushing to obtain the finished product.. |
