| preparation | preparation of serine ethyl ester hydrochloride: add resteamed absolute ethanol (100 ml) to the three-neck bottle equipped with condenser tube, tail gas absorption device and air intake device. Dry hydrogen chloride is passed for 1 hour to make absolute ethanol saturated with respect to hydrogen chloride. Then cool with an ice bath, add 3.5 grams of serine, and continue to stir with hydrogen chloride for 1 hour under the ice bath. Remove the ice bath and heat back for half an hour. Cool, add 10 grams of anhydrous magnesium sulfate and dry for 24 hours. Filter the desiccant, evaporate half of the solvent, let it stand overnight in the refrigerator, precipitate colorless crystals, filter, vacuum drying, and finally obtain the colorless crystalline product serine ethyl ester hydrochloride. Melting point: 160~160.8 ℃, literature value 159~162 ℃. |
