Preparation Method:
Generally, 5-oxo-3-[(triethylsilyl) oxy)-1-cyclopentene-1-heptanoic acid methyl ester can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. 1-cyclopentene-1-heptanone and triethylvinylsilane are reacted in the presence of a base to obtain the product 1-cyclopentene-1-heptanoyl propanol ester.
2.1-cyclopentene -1-heptanoyl propanol ester reacts with excess hydrogen peroxide to produce Baeyer-Villiger oxidation to generate keto acid.
3. Finally, the keto acid is reacted with methanol to generate the target product 5-oxo-3-[(triethylsilyl) oxy)-1-cyclopentene-1-heptanoic acid methyl ester.
