application
Nickel hydroxide can be obtained by adding potassium hydroxide to nickel nitrate or nickel hexaammine (Ⅱ) nitrate solution and used as an oxidation catalyst.

Nickel can enter cells, causing damage to enzymes and metabolic processes in cells, which may cause carcinogenic effects due to the formation of certain carcinogens. Contact with nickel compounds can cause nickel eczema and nickel scabies.
