Orange 20 - Introduction
Cadmium sulfoselenide orange is a compound with orange color, chemical formula Cd(CdS)_xSe_x. It has high light stability and good chemical resistance.
The compounds can be used as pigments, dyes and pigments in paints. Its orange hue makes it widely used in materials such as paints, plastics and ceramics. In addition, Cadmium sulfoselenide orange is also commonly used in industrial applications such as colored glass, ceramic glazes and inks.
The method for preparing Cadmium sulfoselenide orange is generally synthesized by chemical precipitation reaction. The traditional preparation method is to add cadmium sulfide and cadmium selenide to the solution, react to generate a mixture of CdS and CdSe, and then control the ratio by adjusting the reaction conditions to obtain the desired orange color.
However, it should be noted that cadmium is a toxic substance, so relevant safety regulations need to be observed during preparation and use. Avoid direct contact with the compound and minimize inhalation of its dust. Wear appropriate protective equipment during operation, including gloves, glasses and respirators. When disposing of waste, it should be properly disposed of in accordance with local regulations to avoid pollution and harm to the environment.
