RARECHEM AL BW 0475 - Introduction
N-ethyl-3-nitroaniline, also known as N-ethyl-3-nitroaniline, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C8H8N2O2.
Nature:
-Appearance: N-ethyl-3-nitroaniline is yellow crystal, soluble in alcohol, ether and other organic solvents, insoluble in water.
-Melting point: about 110-112°C.
-Density: about 1.23g/cm³.
Use:
- N-ethyl-3-nitroaniline can be used as raw materials and intermediates for dyes.
-It can also be used to synthesize other compounds, such as pesticides, fluorescent dyes, etc.
Preparation Method:
N-ethyl-3-nitroaniline can be prepared by an amination reaction. First, acetophenone is reacted with concentrated nitric acid to obtain nitroacetophenone; then, nitroacetophenone is reacted with ammonia and reduced under appropriate conditions to generate N-ethyl-3-nitroaniline.
Safety Information:
- N-ethyl-3-nitroaniline is irritating and may be harmful to the human body. Contact with the compound should avoid direct contact with the skin and eyes, and if the contact is accidental, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help.
-When handling and storing N-ethyl-3-nitroaniline, follow chemical safety procedures, maintain good ventilation, and avoid contact with flammable substances.
Please note that this is only a general description of the N-ethyl-3-nitroaniline and more reliable literature may be required for specific properties, uses, manufacturing and safety information.
