Physical and Chemical Properties | The chemical properties are dark blue tetragonal crystalline powder. Relative density 6.97. Dissolve in molten alkali solution to form Na2RuO4. Insoluble in water and acid. There is no change in heating to 1025 ℃. Decomposed above 1400 ℃, part of it vaporizes. Heating in a hydrogen stream reduces to produce metallic ruthenium. |
