Use:
DPEphos is a chiral phosphine ligand, which has a wide range of applications in organic synthesis and catalysis. Preparation Method:
The synthesis of DPEphos can be accomplished by a two-step reaction. First, dicyclohexylphosphinophenylborane is reacted with dimethylaminoborane to form dicyclohexylphosphinophenylmethylamine hydrochloride. This intermediate is subsequently reacted with dicyclohexylphosphino ferrocene bromide in the presence of a base to give the desired product DPEphos.
