After heparin was used as an anticoagulant for clinical application for the first time, it has attracted the attention of all countries in the world. Heparin has a strong anticoagulant effect and is the first choice for the prevention and treatment of deep venous thrombosis. Although it has been used clinically for more than 60 years, there is no product that can completely replace it so far, therefore, it is still one of the most important anticoagulant and antithrombotic biochemical drugs. It has a wide range of uses in medicine. It is used to treat acute myocardial infarction and diseased hepatitis. Combined with ribonucleic acid can increase the efficacy of hepatitis B. Combined with chemotherapy, it is beneficial to prevent thrombosis and reduce blood lipids. It also plays a certain role in improving human immune function. Low-molecular-weight heparin sodium has anticoagulant factor Xa activity. Pharmacodynamic studies have shown that low-molecular-weight heparin sodium has an inhibitory effect on the formation of in vivo and external thrombus, arteriovenous thrombus, and has little effect on the coagulation and fibrinolysis system. When it has an anti-thrombotic effect, the possibility of bleeding is small. Unfractionated heparin is a mixture containing a variety of glucosamine, which can delay or prevent blood coagulation in vivo and in vitro. Its anticoagulant mechanism is complex and has an effect on all aspects of coagulation. These include inhibiting the conversion of prothrombin to thrombin; inhibiting thrombin activity; preventing the conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin; preventing platelet aggregation and destruction. Heparin can also reduce blood lipids, lower LDL and VLDL, increase HDL, change blood viscosity, protect vascular endothelial cells, prevent atherosclerosis, promote blood flow, and improve coronary circulation.
