Production method | Made by strontium carbonate acting on acetic acid. 500g of strontium carbonate is mixed into a slurry with 1000mL of water. Under stirring, 98% acetic acid is slowly added, and a large amount of carbon dioxide gas is released. The slurry gradually dissolves, and about 350mL of acetic acid is needed. After addition, there should be a small amount of strontium carbonate in the solution. Boil and filter. Concentrate the filtrate until most of the crystals are precipitated. A small amount of acetic acid (about 1~2mL) can be added during concentration. Cool to below 20°C and extract the crystals. Strontium hydroxide can also be used instead of strontium carbonate to synthesize this product. |
