SUBSTANCE - Introduction
disodium [[[[3-[(4-amino-6-choro-1, 3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino]-4-sulfophenyl] amino]sulphonyl]bis(sulphamoyl)-29H, (4-)-N29,N30,N31,N32]cuprate(2-), also known as Copper(II) Tetrasulfonatedphthalocyanine a metal complex with a special structure, Sodium. Its chemical formula is C32H14ClCuN8Na2O6S6.
This compound has the following properties:
1. Appearance: dark blue crystalline powder or crystal.
2. Stability: Stable in dry, oxygen-free environment, but easy to decompose under humid and light conditions.
3. solubility: soluble in water, poor solubility in organic solvents.
Primary Use:
1. Detergent: Due to its good solubility and redox properties, it is used as a detergent for removing heavy metal ions in wastewater treatment.
2. Dye: It can be used as an organic dye, especially suitable for dyeing cellulosic materials, such as cotton and hemp.
Method:
Copper(II) Tetrasulfonatedphthalocyanine Sodium Salt can be prepared synthetically. A common method is to dissolve an appropriate amount of Tetrasulfonatedphthalocyanine and copper hydroxide in a sufficient alkaline solution, then add NaCl and Na2SO3, react, precipitate, filter, wash and dry to give the desired compound.
Safety Information:
1. Very stable, non-flammable, but easy to decompose under light, so it needs to be stored in a dark, dry place.
2. Inhalation, swallowing or skin contact may cause irritation and allergic reactions and should be avoided.
3. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses during operation to ensure good ventilation.
Please note that this information is for informational purposes only. When using and handling the compound, follow proper laboratory practices and carefully read the relevant safety data sheets.
