Use | Uses: traditional Chinese medicine prescription medication, syndrome differentiation and treatment, more than the heat of the hot cold rule for guidance, therefore in the clinical treatment of solid heat syndrome has a certain effect. In recent years, the antipyretic and anti-inflammatory mechanisms of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi and its components have been deeply studied. Baicalin and baicalein can produce antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects by interfering with the metabolic pathway of arachidonic acid and inhibiting the activity of cytokines. In addition, Huang CEN also has anti-microbial; Scavenging free radicals, anti-oxidation; Anti-tumor effect. |

Abstract:
Objective to study the microwave-assisted extraction of baicalin from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. Methods the microwave-assisted extraction of baicalin from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi was studied by using MSP- 10 0 D special microwave Sample Preparation System with pressure control accessory. The selection of solvent for microwave extraction, the pressure of solvent for heating and the time of microwave irradiation were investigated by orthogonal experimental design. Results through the analysis of the experimental results, comprehensive economic factors and the convenience of the experimental process, at 70% microwave power (microwave oven maximum power of 85 0 Watts), the optimum microwave extraction conditions were as follows: 35% ethanol as solvent, 30 times of solvent, extraction pressure 0 .15 MPa, constant pressure time 30 s can obtain good baicalin extraction rate. Conclusion microwave extraction method not only requires short time, good parallelism, and extraction rate nearly 10% higher than ultrasonic methodKey words:

Abstract:
Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi is an important heat-clearing traditional Chinese medicine. Its chemical composition is mainly flavonoids, which has antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumor, neuroprotective, cardiovascular protection, anti-hyperglycemia and other biological activities. The chemical constituents, pharmacological activities and mechanisms of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi were summarized to provide theoretical basis for further development and utilization of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi.

Abstract:
objective: to observe the antipyretic effect of baicalin on yeast-induced Fever rats and its effect on heat-generating cytokines, and to explore the possible mechanism of baicalin on yeast-induced Fever rats. Method: SC yeast (2g.kg-1) the Fever model of yeast rat was reproduced; The rats were randomly divided into control group, model Group, baicalin high, medium and low dose groups, and the changes of body temperature were observed after treatment; determination of Interleukin-6 (Fever), interleukin-1 β(IL-1β) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in plasma, hypothalamus and cerebrospinal fluid of rats with IL-6 peak by double antibody sandwich ELSIA method the content. The correlation between the rate of change of temperature and the rate of change of IL-6,IL-1,β TNF-α content in the three dosage groups of baicalin was analyzed respectively. Results: compared with other groups, the body temperature of rats in high-dose baicalin group decreased by Fever, and the contents of IL-1β and TNF-α in serum, hypothalamus and cerebrospinal fluid decreased by IL-6. Correlation analysis showed that the change rate of body temperature in rats was positively correlated with the change rate of IL-1β in serum, hypothalamus and cerebrospinal fluid (r = 0.873,P 〈 0.05), it was also positively correlated with the content change rate of TNF-α (r = 0.862,P 〈 0.01). Conclusion: baicalin has obvious antipyretic effect, and its mechanism of action may be mainly related to reducing the content of TNF-α and IL-1β.

Abstract:
objective to investigate the protective effects of four main flavonoids in Scutellaria baicalein, baicalin, wogonin and wogonin on oxidative damage of brain mitochondria. Methods using ascorbic acid Fe2 ,2 ,2 azobis ( 2 amidinopropane)hy drochloride (AAPH) and NADPH three different damage system to induce rat cerebral cortex mitochondrial lipid peroxidation, the protective effects of four main flavonoids from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi in different systems were studied. Results at the concentration of 10 μmol · L-1, all the four flavonoids had protective effects on lipid peroxidation induced by NADPH, but only baicalein and baicalin had significant effects in the first two systems; four kinds of flavonoids have a protective effect on ascorbic acid Fe2 system induced mitochondrial swelling and decreased membrane fluidity. Conclusion flavonoids from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi can inhibit mitochondrial oxidative damage induced by different systems, and baicalein has the best effect in the determination

Abstract:
The polyploid induction of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi was carried out by using tissue culture technique, or the callus with green buds of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi was soaked in 0.2% colchicine solution for a certain period of time before culture, can induce the production of Scutellaria baicalensis polyploid, but the latter effect is better, the induction rate could reach 40.0%. More than 50 autotetraploids of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi were identified by microscopic observation of the chromosomes in the root tips of test-tube plantlets.
