Sequirin C - Introduction
Sequirin C is an organic compound with the chemical formula C25H22O13. It belongs to the benzene ketone compound, with white or almost white crystalline solid, slightly soluble in water, soluble in alcohols and organic solvents.
The main use of Sequirin C is to study and analyze the process of sugar transfer in organisms as a sugar compound. It can be used for the synthesis of glycoproteins, ligands and antigens and other bioactive molecules, can also be used as a fluorescent probe to study the interaction between cells and biomolecules.
Sequirin C is mainly synthesized by synthetic chemical methods. A common preparation method is based on 3,4, 6-triethylpyrazol-2-one as the starting material, through a multi-step reaction, including aldol condensation, reduction and esterification reactions, we end up with Sequirin C.
Regarding the safety information of Sequirin C, there is currently very limited data on its toxicity and danger. However, as a chemical, exposure to or inhalation of Sequirin C may cause irritation and potential health hazards. Therefore, when using and handling Sequirin C, it is necessary to take appropriate personal protective measures, such as wearing appropriate protective gloves, goggles and protective masks to avoid direct contact and inhalation. In addition, when storing and transporting Sequirin C, care should be taken to avoid contact with oxidants or combustible substances to prevent accidents. Most importantly, before using Sequirin C, understand its safety data and follow the relevant laboratory practices and safety guidelines.
