use | thiocarbazide is an intermediate of the herbicide meprozin. thiocarbazide is widely used in organic synthesis and is an important raw material for the production of high-efficiency broad-spectrum herbicide-prozin. |
production method | its preparation method is to add carbon disulfide to a reaction kettle, cool it, add hydrazine hydrate dropwise under stirring, then raise the temperature to remove hydrogen sulfide gas, hydrogen sulfide is absorbed into sodium sulfide with alkali, the reaction liquid is cooled and crystallized, filtered, washed, the filtrate is used as mother liquor for circulation, and the washed filter cake is the finished product. It is obtained by the condensation of hydrazine hydrate and carbon disulfide. Cold the hydrazine hydrate aqueous solution to 15 ℃, and slowly add carbon disulfide, that is, white dithioyl hydrazide precipitates. After adding, stirring for half an hour, then heating to 80°C, the reactants begin to decompose. When heated to 93°C, the reaction is violent, and a large amount of thiohydrogen gas escapes. Continue heating for 3h, let stand overnight, filter out the crystallization, and re-crystallize with 4 times boiling water to obtain the finished product. |
