Vasicilone - Introduction
Vasicinolone is a natural compound found mainly in the Indian herb salmonella onion (Adhatoda vasica). It is a white crystalline solid with a special aromatic odor.
Vasicinolone has a variety of pharmacological activities, mainly for the treatment of respiratory diseases, such as cough, asthma and bronchitis. It has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial effects, can promote bronchiectasis, reduce mucus secretion, and improve respiratory function.
There are two main preparation methods for Vasicinolone: one is obtained by extracting and separating the leaves of Salmonella onion, which is usually available in pharmacies or markets; another method is by chemical synthesis, using organic synthesis methods from simple starting materials.
Regarding safety, although Vasicinolone is extracted from natural plants, it still needs to be carefully considered before use. Clinical and toxicological studies using the compound on a large scale are lacking, so the specific safety and side effects are unknown. It is recommended to consult the advice of a doctor or pharmacist before using Vasicinolone and follow the correct method of medication and dosage.
