Name | cationic Srarc h(2) |
Synonyms | cationic Srarc h(2) |
Physical and Chemical Properties | The chemical product is white powder. Viscosity (4%)>8 × 10-2Pa · s. |
Use | Uses for wet end addition, coating adhesion and surface sizing for papermaking, but mainly for wet end addition to improve the dry strength of paper. When used, it is first dispersed in cold water, and vigorously stirred, the content is not more than 5%. The starch dispersion was heated directly to 95 °c with steam and maintained at this temperature for 10-15 min. The starch was then placed in a storage tank and diluted to 1% with cold water. Dosage 0.5% ~ 2.5%. |
1. add starch to the slurry tank by wet method, add appropriate amount of sodium sulfate, add NaOH aqueous solution, stir and beat, add quaternization reagent and catalyst [NaOH: quaternization reagent: starch = 2.8: 1: 20 (mol)] after metering, and stir at 50 ℃ for 4 hours. Then drive into the neutralization kettle, add dilute hydrochloric acid to neutralize until the pH value is 3, wash and filter, dry to obtain the finished product.
2. mix starch with quaternary ammonium reagent by dry method, add dryer, and vacuum dry at about 60 ℃ until moisture <1%. Then continue to heat up and react at 120~150 ℃ for 1 h to obtain the finished product.
3. The starch and quaternary ammonium agent were mixed together by semi-dry method, and NaOH was added as catalyst to react at 70~80 ℃ for 1~2 h.
Among the above three methods, the semi-dry method is better. The preparation process does not need to add other chemical reagents, no post-treatment, simple process, basically no three waste emissions, short cycle, mild reaction conditions, high conversion rate.
