softener DOD - Preparation method
Open Data Verified Data
1. Put 300kg of octadecanol into the reactor, add 660kg of hydrobromic acid and 133kg of sodium bromide in sequence, stir and heat evenly to 60 ℃. After the octadecanol is melted, add concentrated sulfuric acid dropwise at 60-65 ℃, with a dosage of 328kg. The temperature and droplet acceleration should be controlled to the extent that hydrobromic acid does not escape. After dripping, raise the temperature to 90 ℃, react at 90~100 ℃ for 5 hours, and stop stirring when the temperature drops. Let it stand for layering, discard the lower acid solution, wash the upper solution twice with hot water, wash it once with 5% pure alkali solution, and then wash it with salt water until neutral. Dehydrate and dry to obtain crude bromo octadecane.
2. Put 400kg of ethanol into a quaternization kettle, add 317kg of octadecyldimethyltertiary amine and 333kg of the above product bromo octadecane, and stir evenly. React at 80-85 ℃ for 12 hours. Then add 30-40kg of benzyl chloride. Continue to react for 2 hours. Sampling endpoint.

softener DOD - Introduction
Softener DOD (dideoxygluconate) is an organic compound with the following properties:
1. Physical properties: DOD is a colorless, odorless liquid with high solubility and viscosity.
2. Chemical properties: DOD is an ester compound, which can form hydrogen bonds and Van der Waals forces with the fiber surface to enhance the interaction between the fibers, thereby making the fabric softer.
The main uses of softener DOD are:
1. Fabric softener: DOD is widely used in the production of fabric softener in the textile industry. It can interact with the surface of the fabric to make the fabric soft and smooth, and improve the comfort of the touch.
2. Leather treatment agent: DOD can also be used as leather treatment agent, in the manufacturing process of leather products to play a soft, smooth leather surface.
method of preparing DOD:
A common preparation method is to use bisphenol A and anhydroglucose as raw materials, and synthesize them by esterification reaction in the presence of catalyst. The specific steps include adding bisphenol A and anhydroglucose with an appropriate amount of catalyst into a reaction vessel, and reacting under appropriate reaction conditions to obtain DOD.
Safety Information:
1. DOD has low toxicity, but it still needs to be properly used and stored to avoid inhalation, contact with skin and eyes.
2. Use should maintain a well-ventilated working environment, avoid inhalation of gas and steam.
3. If you accidentally come into contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
4. In storage and handling, should comply with the relevant safety practices, and avoid contact with the fire and oxidant and other substances.
This information is for reference only. Please refer to the relevant product manual and safety operation guide when using the DOD.
