Descriptions | β- Naphthalene ether, also known as orange blossom ether, is a white crystalline substance. Melting point 37 ℃, boiling point 282 ℃, relative density 1.054-1.064 (in liquid state), refractive index 1.5975, soluble in 7 volumes of 95% ethanol and oily spices. It has a grassy aroma resembling orange leaves, with a green and astringent taste and a bitter taste. The aroma is relatively gentle and delicate, with a long lingering fragrance. This product has the fragrance of orange flower and locust flower, accompanied by sweet taste and strawberry, pineapple like fragrance, and is often used as a soap essence (orange flower fragrance), cheap cosmetic essence, strawberry essence and other blending spices.
