DescriptionsAs a polymer molecular weight regulator, n-tetradecyl mercaptan is not only used in the synthesis of resins and polymethyl methacrylate, but also in the synthesis of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymers (ABS). The adduct of n-tetradecyl mercaptan and ethylene oxide can be used as an emulsifier, dispersant, detergent, and adhesive additive. After oxidation, combined with organic amines, it can be used as an anti-aging agent for lubricating oil and a vulcanizing agent for synthetic rubber and natural rubber
