DescriptionsCocoamidopropyl Betaine (English name: Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, chemical name: Cocoamidopropyl Dimethylaminoethyl Lactone, trade name: CAB) is a detergent additive and belongs to the category of zwitterionic surfactants. It is a light yellow liquid with a density close to that of water, at 1.04 g/cm3. Coconut oil amide propyl betaine exhibits excellent stability under acidic and alkaline conditions, exhibiting both positive and negative properties, and is often used in combination with anionic, cationic, and non-ionic surfactants. Coconut oil amide propyl betaine has good cleaning, foaming, and conditioning effects, and is compatible with anionic, cationic, and non-ionic surfactants. This product has small irritation, mild performance, and delicate and stable foam. It is suitable for shampoo, bath gel, facial cleanser, etc., and can enhance the softness of hair and skin. In addition, when combined with an appropriate amount of anionic surfactants, this product has a significant thickening effect and can also be used as a conditioner, wetting agent, bactericide, anti-static agent, etc.
