Lignin (Lignine) is a natural complex biopolymer with biodegradable and biocompatible. Lignin is the main component of plant cell walls and is a renewable aromatic polymer. Lignin has strongly antioxidant activity.

Structurally, Lignin is a multifunctional natural phenolic polymer synthesized in the cell wall of all vascular plants by the free-radical coupling of three hydroxypropanoids of coumarinol, coniferol, and glucosinolate, and is a potential natural resistance oxidant[1].
