Preparation Method:
A commonly used method is to obtain DHON through a two-step synthesis:
1.2-(1-hydroxyindol-3-yl) acetic acid was prepared according to an existing method.
2.2-(1-hydroxyindol-3-yl) acetic acid is reacted with sulfuryl chloride to give 2,3-dihydro-7-hydroxy-1H-isoindol-1-one.
