4-methylpyridazine (4-methylpyridazine) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C4H6N2, and the structure contains a methyl group (CH3) and two adjacent azine rings.
Nature:
-Appearance: Colorless to light yellow crystal or crystalline powder
-melting point: 82-85 ℃
-boiling point: 130-132 ℃
-Solubility: 4-methylpyridazine has low solubility in water and is soluble in ethanol, methanol, acetone, acetic acid, ether and other organic solvents.
Use:
- 4-methyl pyridazine can be used as a pharmaceutical intermediate for the synthesis of drugs such as mesylate (Methylphenidate), West afitinib (Sorafenib) and the like.
-It can also be used as a ligand for metal ions, and has certain applications in metal organic chemistry and catalytic reactions.
Preparation Method:
4-Methylpyridazine can be prepared by the following methods:
-It is obtained by reacting 2-methylpyridazine with methylmagnesium bromide and then treating with acid.
-Produced by the dechlorination of 1,4-dimethylpyrazole with dichloromethane.
