natural vitamin e
Natural vitamin E is a mixture, mainly composed of four tocopherol homologs derived from maternal phenols, including d-α-tocopherol, d-β-tocopherol, d-& gamma;-Tocopherol and d-& delta;-Tocopherol, they all have saturated C16 side chains, only the number and position of methyl groups on the benzene ring are different. Although their structures are very similar, their biological activities are different, which are d-α-tocopherol> d-β-tocopherol> d-& gamma;-tocopherol> d-& delta;-tocopherol, while the antioxidant activity is d-& delta;-tocopherol is the highest.
Preparation
100g of mixed tocopherol concentrated solution containing 40.5% is added into 500ml of 95% ethanol, and after cold analysis and filtration, a resin adsorption column (& phi) is installed at normal temperature. 50mm * 600mm), filled with strong alkaline ionic resin, model PA306S, particle size 60-100 mesh, resin after transformation treatment, resin layer height 300mm, resin column volume (BV) of about 0.6L. After the sample is adsorbed, 1.5L(2.5BV) of 95% ethanol is used to rinse the impurity not adsorbed by the resin, then 2.4L0.01-0.05mol/L of carbon dioxide ethanol solution is used to desorb, the first effluent is collected, the solvent is recovered and distilled to obtain 34.5g of mixed tocopherol, of which the total tocopherol content is 93.5%,d-& delta;-The relative content of tocopherol monomer is 28.3%. Then desorb with 1.2L0.15-0.2mol/L carbon dioxide ethanol solution, collect the second effluent, and recover the solvent to obtain 6.4gd-& delta;-tocopherol monomer, in which the total tocopherol content is 91.3%,d-& delta;-The relative content of tocopherol monomer is 89.6%, and the yield of total tocopherol is 94.1%.
