Overview Sugar grass ester (Quizalofop-P-tefuryl) is a chiral herbicide of aromatic oxyphenoxy carboxylic acid developed by Uniroyal Chemical Company of the United States. It has excellent control effect on annual and perennial grass weeds.
characteristics sugar grass ester has the advantages of high efficiency, easy degradation and little environmental pollution.
Herbicide Sugar grass ester is an organic heterocyclic herbicide, which was successfully developed by Uninyal Chemical Co. and obtained the patent EP 288275(1988).
amber viscous liquid at room temperature with a density of 1340±40kg/ m2(24 ℃) and a slight smell. Solubility at 25 ℃: toluene 652g/L; Hexane 12g/L; Methanol 64g/L, water 0.04mg/L.
applicable crops: dicotyledonous crops such as potato, flax, sugar beet, bowl beans, soybean and cotton.

toxicity acute oral LD50 of rats is 1140mg original drug/kg, acute oral LC50 of quail and wild duck (8 days)>5g/L, acute percutaneous LD50 of rabbits> 2 g/kg, and contact LD50 of bees (48 hours)>0.1mg/head of bees. It has no irritating effect on skin, has moderate irritating effect on rabbit eyes, and has no allergic effect on guinea pig skin.
Preparation method 2-[4-(3-chloro-quinoxalinyloxy) phenoxy] propionic acid and 2-chloromethyltetrahydrofuran and potassium carbonate are reacted in acetonitrile for about 10 hours to obtain saccharate. The reaction formula is as follows:
