4-Trifluoromethyl-3-chloro-2-methoxypyridine, also known as F3CMOP, has the following properties:

2.3-chloro-2-methoxypyridine reacts with trifluoromethyl borate to generate 4-trifluoromethyl-3-chloro-2-methoxypyridine.
