| In vitro study | Thiomyristoyl(TM) is a highly selective SIRT2 inhibitor. It does not effectively inhibit SIRT3, SIRT5, SIRT6 or SIRT7. In vitro, it can significantly inhibit cell activity, and its cytotoxicity has a certain selectivity for cancer cells. TM reduces tumor protein levels by c-Myc in cancer cells. In different cell lines, the ability of TM to reduce abundance by c-Myc correlates with the cell line's sensitivity to TM. |
