2-ethoxy-2-oxoacetic acid, the potassium salt, the hydroxy derivative of ethyl acetate, with the formula CH3COCH2OCH2COOK.
Nature:

Use:
-2-ethoxy-2-oxoacetic acid potassium salt, as an important organic base catalyst, can be used in esterification and carbonylation reactions in organic synthesis.
