(3R)-4-tert-butoxy-3-{[(9H-fluoren-9-ylmethoxy)carbonyl]amino}butanoic acid is a compound whose properties include the appearance of white crystalline powder, molecular formula C28H31NO6, the molecular weight was 477.55g/mol.
(3R)-4-tert-butoxy-3-{[(9H-fluoren-9-ylmethoxy)carbonyl]amino}butanoic acid is mainly used as an amino acid protecting group in organic synthesis. It can protect the hydroxyl and amino groups and delay the reaction.
Preparation of (3R)-4-tert-butoxy-3-{[(9H-fluoren-9-ylmethoxy) the method of carbonyl]amino}butanoic acid is to react L-B-homoserine with N-methyl-urotropine and dimethylformamide at low temperature, and then add TERT-butyl protecting agent to react to obtain the product.
