| Application | (R)-4-hydroxy-2-pyrrolidone is a key intermediate in the preparation of oxiracetam. Oxiracetam is a drug for the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases. It is a derivative of the fourth generation of puzzle drugs and pyrrolidone. |
| preparation | add 70mL of water and 2.5mL of triethylamine into a 250mL four-mouth flask, stir evenly, and cool to 5~10 ℃.
