2-(4-amino-3-nitroanilino)ethanol is an organic compound with the chemical formula C8H10N2O3. It is a solid with light yellow crystals. The following is a description of the properties, uses, preparation and safety information of the compound:

Method:
The preparation of 2-(4-amino-3-nitroanilino)ethanol can be carried out by the following steps:
1. First, 4-amino -3-Nitroaniline is reacted with acetaldehyde to generate 4-amino -3-nitroacetophenone.
2. Then, 4-amino-3-nitroacetophenone is reacted with alkaline solution to obtain the target product 2-(4-amino-3-nitroanilino)ethanol.
