25191-25-7 - Introduction
Pvsk colloidal titration (colloid titration) is a simple, rapid and accurate method for determining the charge of high molecular polymers. Potassium Polyvinyl Sulfate (polyvinyl potassium sulfate, PVSK) can form negatively charged colloidal particles in water. Methyl Glycol Chitosan(MGC) is positively charged in acidic aqueous solution. Using the principle of electrical neutralization, the negatively charged colloidal particles will react with positively charged colloidal particles to achieve electrical neutralization. Under appropriate pH conditions, the two colloids can completely react to form insoluble precipitates.
